The Terminal Movie Review. Jeff nathanson, sacha gervasi director of photography: Like secret window was a gallery of johnny depp’s acting skills, the terminal is the tom hanks show.
The terminal is a gentle film, and oftentimes hilarious. Which is apt, given that it pretty much nails the feeling of what it’s like to spend 90 minutes in one. Who says mystery is a lost art?
It’s set in a dazzling dystopian metropolis, but this strained attempt at hardboiled noir is deeply dull.
Starring margot robbie, simon pegg, dexter fletcher, max irons and mike myers. When viktor navorski (tom hanks), an eastern european tourist, arrives at jfk in new york, war breaks out in his country and he finds himself caught up in international politics. In terminal, several lost souls occupy a sprawling, shadowy train station at night in an unnamed city. Which is apt, given that it pretty much nails the feeling of what it’s like to spend 90 minutes in one.
