Cheesy little italy a serviceably bland romantic comedy. Sal angiole and vince campo are best friends and owners of pizza napoli, a family run restaurant in the heart of their neighborhood, little italy. They are the offspring of rival new york (style) pizzeria owners, who at one point owned their restaurant together.
Joined by producer/editor steve cakouros and executive producer rio vitale, the film traces the neighborhood’s social and cultural heritage from the late 1800s to the present.
The scene is gloriously over the top, with stereotypical characters eating pizza in their restaurants, dough flying an inch from the ceiling, and love for.
