Rick plays on the razorbacks rugby team where his coach and father (neal mcdonough) doesn’t ever seem to give him a break. A rugby player is put up in a juvenile detention center. It is loosely based on a compilation of true stories associated with the famed highland rugby team coached by larry gelwix.
Rugby action and tackles sometimes result in bloody noses.
Forever strong is a sports film directed by ryan little and written by david pliler and released on september 26, 2008. It reminded me a lot of remember the titans because it included comedy, sadness, and just awesomeness. Rick penning lives life just like he plays rugby; I'm not competitve and don't watch rugby but movies like forever strong leave me with a call to action that inspires.
